A credit score is like a report card for how you handle borrowed money. It ranges from 300 to 850.


Score Ranges:

  • 800-850: Excellent (A+)
  • 740-799: Very Good (A)
  • 670-739: Good (B)
  • 580-669: Fair (C)
  • 300-579: Poor (D-F)

    1. Payment History (35%): Paying bills on time is #1

    2. Amount Owed (30%): How much of your credit limit you use
